Earlier this summer, Travis Kelce attended one of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows and tried to give her one of those friendship bracelets that her fans make.
And while Kelce apparently failed on the night, he might have succeeded overall, as the pair are now rumored to be “quietly hanging out.”
According to the website The Messenger — which A) is a website I’ve personally never heard of and B) is claiming the story as an exclusive — the pair have recently been “quietly hanging out.”
“Taylor and Travis have been quietly hanging out. She saw him when she was in NYC a few weeks ago,” the source said.
Earlier this summer, Kelce detailed his experience at her concert on an episode of the podcast that he shares with his brother Jason Kelce.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Kelce explained. “She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal, but it was an unbelievable show.”
Earlier this year, the 33-year-old Swift was attached to The 1975 lead singer Matty Healy, although the pair’s relationship ended as quickly as it began. As for Kelce, back in May 2022, he and his girlfriend Kayla Nicole split after five years of dating.
Kelce, 33 years old, was forced to miss the Kansas City Chiefs’ first game of the season due to a hyperextended knee injury. While the Chiefs had originally expected the worst regarding Kelce, reports now indicate he could return to action as soon as Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
As for Swift, she’ll wrap up her wildly lucrative The Eras Tour, which she began back in March, in November in Brazil before eventually resuming it in February 2024.
