There’s only one thing better than Texas Roadhouse, and that’s Texas Roadhouse leftovers. However, when this server suggested a twist to a dish, one TikToker was left pleasantly surprised.
In a clip that has garnered 29,500 views, Sophia (@sophia_loves_yellow) started prepping her Texas Roadhouse leftovers on camera.
“OK, so I am heating up my leftovers from Texas Roadhouse,” she said. “I got the barbecue chicken because I really wasn’t in the mood for steak, and our waiter offered if I wanted to get it with jalapeños on it.”
She then panned the camera to the meal, which included chicken slathered in barbecue sauce topped with jalapeños.
Were The Jalapeños A Good Addition?
“And I was like, ‘Oh, that actually sounds really good, like I’ll do a little spicy, a little sweet, that sounds delicious,” Sophia continued. “So then, when the runner brought it out, she’s like, ‘Huh, I’ve never seen this was jalapeños.”As Sophia films the TikTok, she piles her leftovers on the plate.
“And I was like, ‘Oh, that’s kind of strange, like he had offered like the typical like mushrooms and onions, and I was like, ‘No, that sounds not good,’ but it was delicious, like seriously so good. I obviously took it home and I really never take leftovers home,” she said. “And so afterwards, I was telling my mom and she was like, ‘Was it, like, even on the menu? Like are jalapeños, grilled jalapeños, even on the menu?”
Apparently, they’re not.
“They’re not anywhere on the menu, so I really don’t know where these jalapeños came from,” she added. “They’re delicious and I will be eating them again, but I just found this to be very interesting. So yeah, if you know where the jalapeños came from, please just let me know.”
In the video description, she tagged Texas Roadhouse and added: “I have questions!”

What Did The Commenters Say?
Multiple Texas Roadhouse employees shared their perspectives.
“I have a server I work with that literally gets people to get the mushrooms, onions, and jack cheese on the pulled pork sandwich all the time, and I’m like, ‘How do you get that ’cause I can’t lol,” one wrote.
“We got jalapeños that can be put on steaks and stuff but where you’d find it on the menu is actually the drink menu we got spicy margs and that’s what we put in it,” another added.
While a third shared, “I work at a Roadhouse where if we ring in jalapeños we have to tell the kitchen personally to grill or cut them and they get really p—– off at us. The BBQ chicken and grilled jalapeños sounds so good though.”
“We offer charred jalapeños at my location,” a fourth said. “It is not on our physical menus but we have little cards at tables promoting them!”
Meanwhile, a fifth revealed, “They do server competitions on who can upsell the most. so the jalapeños help with that.”

Other Texas Roadhouse ‘Menu Hacks’
Jalapeño barbecue chickens aren’t the only menu hack that Texas Roadhouse is more than happy to oblige.
As previously reported by BroBible, TikToker and pastor Keenan Roberts (@pastorkeenan) shared a novel new way to eat Texas Roadhouse’s famous bread rolls.
As we know, these delicious rolls aren’t just unlimited—they’re also free. Still, if you want to adapt the food item further, you can at no extra cost.
In a TikTok, the creator films himself sitting inside a Texas Roadhouse with his wife, Anj, opposite him, holding a bread roll.
As he filmed her pulling the roll apart, he said, “Did you know, of course, you can get the regular rolls here at Texas Roadhouse…”
“…Or you can request that they grill the rolls,” he added, panning the camera to another plate of bread which looks grilled. “Check that out.”
