During the Monday Night Football game between the New York Jets and the Los Angeles Chargers, Marvel Studios released the final trailer for their upcoming film The Marvels, which releases on Friday.

While it’s unusual for a new full trailer to debut this close to the release of the film, Marvel Studios is obviously trying to drum up excitement for the film, which is currently tracking to make around $75 million at the domestic box office during its opening weekend.

You can check out the official final trailer for The Marvels, which opens with major callbacks to Avengers: Endgame, below.

Here is the official synopsis for The Marvels, via Marvel Studios:

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

This final trailer for The Marvels also confirms that Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, first introduced in Thor: Ragnarok, will appear in the film.

In addition to the reveal of Valkyrie, the trailer also seems to be teasing the potential arrival of an X-en character (we explain why HERE) and the possibility of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel transforming into Binary.

Alongside Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, the movie — the third MCU feature film following Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 — stars Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson.
