Coinciding with director Christopher Nolan’s interview on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the new trailer for his latest film The Odyssey has been released. The Odyssey will be released in movie theaters on July 17.

The Odyssey will be Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan’s first movie since 2023’s Oppenheimer, which cleaned up at the Academy Awards by winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor for Cillian Murphy and a litany of other prizes.

Outside of InterstellarThe Odyssey looks to be the biggest undertaking of Nolan’s career thus far as evidenced by the fact that it was filmed entirely with newly-created IMAX cameras — a fact that the acclaimed filmmaker is notably proud of.
