Tickets to see Phish at the Sphere in Las Vegas continue to skyrocket in price on resale markets. They are likely to be the most difficult tickets to obtain in the legendary jam band’s 40-year history!

Comparing the demand for Phish tickets at the Sphere to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour really puts the fundamental difference between a “crazy superfan” audience and a “passive listener” in perspective. Adding the world’s most viral entertainment venue into the equation only increases the allure.

Phish at the Sphere is going to be awesome. Fans of the band are willing to whatever it takes to get there. Fans of the venue may choose to see Trey Anastasio and company over U2 or other artists because of the mind-blowing visuals that are set to accompany their four-night residency at the end of April.

It is the perfect storm for secondary ticket markets, which are notorious for jacking up prices to the highest-possible number. Let’s break it down!

Initial tickets for Phish at the Sphere were priced as follows:

  • General Admission Floor & P1 Reserved Seating — $195.74 ($161.50 + $19.70 fee + $14.54 tax)
  • P2 Reserved Seating — $148.56 ($119.50 + $18.30 fee + $10.76 tax)
  • P3 Reserved Seating — $117.14 ($91.50 + $17.40 fee + $8.24 tax)

The cost has already more than quadrupled for the show on 4/20. The other three nights are not much cheaper!

Here is a breakdown of the least-expensive tickets on Stubhub as of this writing. Even seats without a clear view of the stage and the massive LED screen will cost more than double the initial sale.

  • April 18
    • Limited or Obstructed View: $580
    • Unobstructed View: $802
  • April 19
    • Limited or Obstructed View: $708
    • Unobstructed View: $978
  • April 20
    • Limited or Obstructed View: $927
    • Unobstructed View: $978
  • April 21
    • Limited or Obstructed View: $584
    • Unobstructed View: $672

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh!

It is very possible that ticket prices could drop between now and April. However, as each day passes, Phish fans only want to be there more and more… The four-night run is going to be insane.
