President Trump and his administration are reportedly putting pressure on Romania to lift their travel restrictions on the Tate brothers. Both Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, are currently on house arrest while awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking, sexual misconduct, and money laundering.

According to the Financial Times, Trump’s administration has asked Romanian authorities several times about removing travel restrictions on the Tate brothers, who have dual US/UK citizenship.

U.S. officials initially discussed the subject in a phone call with the Romanian government, in which they pushed for the return of the Tates’ passports and permission for them to travel while awaiting trial.

Richard Grenell, President Donald Trump’s U.S. envoy for special missions, met with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu at the Munich Security Conference to advocate on Tate’s behalf last week.

Andrew Tate reacted to the Financial Times story implying that Joe Biden was responsible for his arrest in Romania.

“It was Biden who locked us up in the first place. USAID sponsored attack.”

“UK foreign office heavily involved. They want me to serve time for tweets. None of the charges against me were ever real.”

“I will do an expose that will blow your minds about the levels of corruption under the democrats and currently still in Europe.”
