Couple Goes To Twin Peaks. Then The Girlfriend Thanks The Waitress For Forgetting His Order: ‘She’s A Girl’s Girl’

A Twin Peaks customer has gone viral after thanking the waitress for forgetting her boyfriend’s order. But according to many users, the order should be the least of her worries.

While they get great tips, Twin Peaks bartenders have to put up with a lot. So, when one Twin Peaks server forgot this TikToker’s boyfriend’s order, she chose to see the funny side.

The video consists of TikTok user Johanna Sacs (@modern.day.stork) in Twin Peaks happily getting stuck into her food while her boyfriend looks on in faux annoyance. It has amassed 1.4 million views.

The TikTok is accompanied by the following on-screen text. It reads, “Thank you to the waitress at Twin Peaks for forgetting his order and not mine.”

Sacs shared some more context with BroBible in a statement: “We sat at the bar and ordered two plates. My chicken wings came out before his food did, after sometime I asked the waitress where his food was since it had been quite awhile. She apologized and went to the kitchen (this is when the video was recorded as a joke) and she returned with his plate,” she added.

What Did Commenters Say?

Commenters were split. Some didn’t approve.

“Y’all normalize things men would never normalize,” one wrote.

“It’s so disrespectful and has nothing to do with being insecure,” a second added.

A third echoed, “I just find it disgusting go to places specifically to view women’s a****, breasts, bodies… so weird [we] normalize this”

Still, there were others who supported the couple.

“Everybody hating and they prolly the happiest couple ever,” a fourth remarked. “If you actually have a serious problem with going to Hooters or Twin Peaks, you might just be insecure or don’t trust ur man.”

“Former regular of Twin Peaks turned Twin Peaks waitress, we’re for the girlies we don’t gaf about those men,” a fifth said. “And the food is fire!”

“Am I the only one who actually likes Twin Peaks?” a fifth asked. “Them girls are nice as hell to me and mean  to my man when we go, I like them pretty ladies over there.”

Sacs responded to some of the critical comments she received.

“We’ve been to Twin Peaks before, have many friends who go with their significant others and there was also families eating there. We have been happily married and together for 10 years with. We never thought there was much controversy to places like Twin Peaks and Hooters so we have been shockingly surprised at some of the comments from others,” she told BroBible.

Should You Care If Your Partner Visits Twin Peaks?

Over on the r/AskWomen subreddit, one user asked netizens how they’d feel about their partner visiting a restaurant like Twin Peaks. Their answers were very revealing.

“If they were visiting breastaurants regularly, I’d probably lose respect for them,” one admitted. “But once in a blue moon, it’s not a big deal.”

A second said, “I find men who would be into that sort of establishment off-putting and I’d be entirely turned off by him.”

Similarly, a third remarked, “I’m not really down with my middle aged partner being so exploitative of young vulnerable women. I think we should be more protective of people our children’s age.”

And a fourth wrote, “I’d be more appalled at the taste in food. Feels like the most offensive part of those places.”

Meanwhile, a fifth said, “No, I wouldn’t be fine with it. A guy wanting to go to places like that tells me a lot about how he views women, and none of it is good. I’m also not going to pretend to be a Cool Girl who says, ‘Only if he takes me with him because I like to look at hot women too!;. Miss me with that.”

Sacs told BroBible it was actually her idea to dine at Twin Peaks.

“My husband and I are fans of UFC, there was a fight card happening that afternoon and I asked him if he wanted to watch the fight at a bar together, I then chose Twin Peaks because we knew they would be playing the fights,” she shared.
