Vegans Are Furious At Hyundai Super Bowl Commercial For Comparing A Vegan Dinner Party To The Worst Things Ever

A Hyundai Super Bowl 2019 commercial compared a vegan dinner to the worst things ever such as a root canal, jury duty, parents giving their adolescent children the “birds and the bees” talk, and getting the middle seat on an airplane. Now vegans have become infuriated with the humorous Super Bowl ad.

During Super Bowl LIII, Hyundai shared a commercial where they compared car shopping to some of the worst life experiences you could ever imagine including suffering through a vegan dinner party. Not everyone enjoyed the comical aspect of the Super Bowl 53 commercial — especially vegans. Shocker. Vegans were furious with the commercial and voiced their displeasure on social media in a frenzied and fanatical way that a person who was withheld the simple pleasures of meat would.

The Hyundai Super Bowl 2019 commercial starring Jason Bateman found poor souls having to go to a vegan dinner party complete with “beetloaf.” At first, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) were “outraged” over the harmless commercial, which is weird because they’re usually so even-keeled and logical.

Soon enough vegan zealots were sharing photos of “amazing vegan chocolate cake,” which if it really was “amazing” they wouldn’t have to make it look like non-vegan chocolate cake.

Hyundai responded to the criticisms by the plant fanatics, “We actually love vegan food and are glad it’s going more mainstream.” The Korean carmaker even gave a great recipe for beetloaf.

I for one, can’t wait to buy my next Hyundai. Welcome to 2019, where everything is offensive and you should never give an opinion even in a comical way ever, ever, ever.
