This Viral Wheel Of Fortune Choke Job Is One Of The Worst That You Will Ever See

Beyond watching The Price Is Right as a child with my grandmother, I’ve never been much of a game show watcher.

Sure, maybe the odd episode of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire when that was a thing. But Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune were never really my thing.

Thankfully, with the invention of the internet and, subsequently, Twitter, I can watch all the best moments from those games without ever having to actually watch a single episode.

Which brings us to this beautiful disaster.

This week is teen week on Wheel of Fortune. Meaning we’re supposedly sending out best and brightest youths to compete. Unfortunately for a young girl named Khushi, Monday night’s episode quickly turned into a nightmare.

Twitter user Chad Mosher shared the now viral clip.

With the clue “Food & Drink”, Khushi was one letter away from solving a puzzle that read “Fre_h Tropical Fruit.”

She then spun the wheel once more rather than solving the puzzle. But when it came time to call out the final letter, she lived everybody’s worst nightmare. Rather than answering obviously with an “S” it appears this poor girl’s brain just froze.

It happens to all of us. But this was brutal timing.

Instead, she guesses the letter “G”, which draws a hilariously loud “what?!” from someone in the audience.

Of course, that was not the answer and a fellow contestant, Julianna, then solved the puzzle correctly.

Host Pat Sajak was very kind in his response, stating “you know, when that happens and you’re sitting at home you’re saying ‘how in the world can that (happen)?’ But, you know, sometimes it’s a word that just doesn’t want to come into focus for you.”

Sure, this girl lost out on a trip to Antigua and Barbuda. But she’ll now live on forever in Wheel of Fortune history.
