Whats New On HBO Max In September

HBO / Blue Sky Studios / Universal Pictures

We truly are living in the golden age of television, aren’t we? There are more good shows and movies available now than ever before in history. And it’s all thanks to our favorite online streaming services.

Speaking of our favorite online streaming services, here’s what’s new for the month of September 2020 on HBO and HBO Max.

Max Originals debuting in the month include the premiere of Ridley Scott’s serialized sci-fi series Raised by Wolves, centering on two androids tasked with raising human children on a mysterious virgin planet, new film Unpregnant starring Haley Lu Richardson and Barbie Ferreira, which follows seventeen-year-old Veronica on a 900+ mile hilarious road trip to Mexico with her ex-best friend as she considers a decision she never imagined she’d have to make, and The Murders at White House Farm, a true crime story about three generations of one family murdered at their isolated farm over thirty years ago. Max Originals The Great Pottery Throw Down, Haute Dog, and Mo Willems and The Storytime All-Stars Present: Don’t Let The Pigeon Do Storytime! will also be debuting in the month.

Classic films including All The Right Moves, The Bodyguard, Clerks, Harlem Nights, Midnight Run, The Outsiders, Point Break, Reversal of Fortune, Snakes on a Plane, and V for Vendetta will also arrive on HBO Max. HBO Max’s Last Chance to Watch section will include The Exorcist, Saving Private Ryan and Gremlins.

HBO Originals premiering this month includes socially distanced comedy Coastal Elites with Bette Midler, Kaitlyn Dever, Dan Levy, Sarah Paulson and Issa Rae, The Third Day starring Jude Law and Naomie Harris, and We Are Who We Are from Luca Guadagnino, which tells the story of two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy as they explore friendship, first-love, and identity. HBO Europe’s Patria, which tells the story of the Spanish Basque Country threatened by the separatist terrorism of ETA through the eyes of two families divided by the violent conflict, will also be available to stream during the month.

Blockbuster films such as The Invisible Man, Just Mercy, Spies in Disguise, Fandango at the Wall, A Hidden Life, Replicas, and The Operative join the HBO service this month. September will be the last chance to watch Alita: Battle Angel, Anna, Armageddon, Bohemian Rhapsody, Shaft, and Wedding Crashersbefore they depart the service.
