For the first time in 17 years, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back in action together on the set of a Bad Boys movie.
As we mentioned earlier this month, Smith revealed that production on Bad Boys For Lif3 was getting underway with a photo of a pile of scripts and a caption stating that it was “Day 1.”
Now, five days into shooting, we have our first look at some of what’s going down in Atlanta on set with Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
In other Bad Boys for Lif3 news, Variety reports DJ Khaled has been added to the cast of the film which already includes Joe Pantoliano, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Jacob Scipio, Paola Nuñez, and Charles Melton, but no Gabrielle Union as Marcus’ sister Sydney because she and Jessica Alba are filming the movie’s TV show spinoff L.A.’s Finest.

According to Production Weekly…
The new installment centers on the Miami PD and its elite AMMO team’s attempt to take down Armando Armas (Scipio), head of a drug cartel. Armando is a cold-blooded killer with a vicious, taunting nature. He is committed to the work of the cartel and is dispatched by his mother to kill Mike (Smith). [Paola] Nuñez will take on the role of Rite, the tough and funny criminal psychologist who is the newly appointed head of AMMO and Mike’s former girlfriend – and the one who got away.
Bad Boys for Lif3 is scheduled to hit theaters on January 17th, 2020.
