Man Sneaks On Epstein Island For A Video. Then He Takes A Look Out His Window: ‘YOU ARE IN DANGER’

In November 2025, Congress passed a measure compelling the government to release its files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

While the government was given a 30-day deadline to release all files, it failed to do so. Instead, it opted for a slow release, allowing them time to go through all the files and make (occasionally overzealous and illegal) redactions. This is why it feels like every few days, we get more information about the convicted pedophile and his many celebrity friends and acquaintances.

No matter how much more information we get, many questions about the Epstein case remain unanswered. For example, what exactly was he doing on his island, Little Saint James?

In order to answer that question—and, let’s be honest, to get some attention—numerous content creators and explorers have illegally ventured onto the island. Now, another internet user has done the same thing. Upon his return, things got weird.

What Happened To This YouTuber?

On Jan. 31, YouTube creator Nico Grigg posted a video documenting his attempts to visit Little Saint James via the U.S. Virgin Islands. After several tries, he manages to take a few steps toward the shore, though he is forced to turn back before actually making it to the beach and onto the island.

At the end of the video, he said that since his return to the United States, his residence has been visited by several large black SUVs. Now that the video is live, he posted another video on TikTok saying that the visits have continued.

“Every day since I’ve been home, there have been blacked-out Escalade trucks sitting outside my house,” he says in his TikTok. The video shows several different Escalade trucks passing by his residence.

“I’m posting this here now just in case anything happens,” he adds. “For all I know this could be Jeffrey Epstein’s friends. If I pissed anyone off, I apologize, and I want this all to be over.”

This TikTok currently has over 33 million views.

What Went Down Next?

In subsequent videos, Grigg claims that visits from these black Cadillac Escalades have become more common. He also states that a DoorDash driver attempted to enter his home. While he did not initially regard it as suspicious, seeing the rise in Cadillac Escalade sightings, he speculates that it could have been related to his recent visit.

Later videos show him attempting to confront the people in the cars. He continually fails to do so, with the driver leaving before Grigg can properly confront them.

Is This Real?

From his original YouTube video, it appears that Grigg genuinely attempted to get onto Little Saint James. As the island is now privately-owned, entering the island without permission is illegal.

However, it seems that this doesn’t actually apply to the beach. The U.S. Virgin Islands Open Shoreline Act allows unrestricted beach access for legal visitors. This means that access to the beach cannot be obstructed, and visits to any beaches—including those on private property—are allowed without permission up to the vegetation line.

While Grigg may have been concerned on the island about the presence of security, it seems that he could have actually gotten onto the island without legal issue. If he tried to leave the beach, however, he would likely be apprehended for illegal trespassing.

This brings into question whether there would be any need to surveil him in the first place.

So, Is He Really Being Watched?

It’s unclear. While Grigg’s videos show a sense of paranoia about what’s happening, there are perfectly normal reasons why one might see dark SUVs—though some commenters suspect that the entire reaction is fabricated.

To start, Grigg makes no specific allegations about who is watching him. That said, anyone who observed him long enough to know he tried to visit the island would also know that he was unsuccessful—and that all information he acquired in his video is easily viewed in the countless other videos on the topic.

Second, there’s no reason that anyone monitoring the YouTuber would only drive black SUVs. As the blacked-out SUV is the stereotypical “spy” vehicle, many say that it’s pretty bad for actually spying on people. This is why many people who perform surveillance suggest other types of vehicles, such as mini-vans or non-descript white vans. The black SUVs that Grigg is seeing, then, could just as easily be normal drivers.

Finally, some commenters speculate that the presence of suspicious vehicles is being concocted by Grigg. These commenters cite obscured license plates and a failure of successful confrontation as reasons why they aren’t taking Grigg’s claims too seriously.

Commenters Are Divided

In the comments section, some users genuinely feared for Grigg’s life.

“Dont walk alone, dont go on any planes, dont get an any cars,” wrote a user.

“Maybe start becoming a 24 hour life streamer just in case,” added another.

That said, commenters under later videos speculated that the Escalade incidents were staged.

“Guys i honestly stopped believing him,” said a commenter.

“If this is all fake, your good at what your doing. however, if its real, this is actually getting super scary,” summarized a second.
