The International Trailer For ’13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi’ Is All Sorts Of Epic

Michael Bay makes his directorial return with 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and as per usual with his films, the special effects look utterly epic – an extended glance is given in this newly-released international trailer, just days ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

The movie seeks to tell the true story of six members of the Annex Security Team who were sent in to defend the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, from an attack by Islamic militants, in which four American citizens, including a diplomat, were tragically killed on September 11, 2012. However, if not for the heroic actions of the six security contractors – former Navy SEALs, Marine Recon and Army Special Forces – who laid their lives on the line, it’s near certain more casualties would have resulted.

If this trailer is any indication, the flick is going to be a must-see for action film buffs. Or pretty much anyone, for that matter.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Behnghazi stars James Badge Dale, John Krasinski, Max Martini, Toby Stephens, Pablo Schreiber, David Denman, Dominic Fumusa, Demetrius Grosse and Freddie Stroma, and is set to hit U.S. theatres on January 15, 2016. Despite the whirlwind controversy surrounding her supposed knowledge of information leading to the events in Libya, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not featured in the film.
