Hot off the heels of his evisceration of Nancy Grace (when the two debated the legalization of weed), 2 Chainz has announced that he may run for mayor of College Park, Georgia.
As each and every one of you already know, 2 Chainz was born ‘Tauheed Epps’ in the town of College Park, Georgia. He later went on to Alabama State University on a basketball scholarship, where he reportedly graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Fast forward through a long and successful rap career, and the prodigal child is reportedly thinking about taking over his home town.
NBC’s 11 Alive is reporting that 2 Chainz may run for mayor of College Park:
According to a recent interview with XXL Magazine, 2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, announced a possible future in running for mayor of his hometown, College Park.
With a 4.0 GPA from Alabama State University and proven debating skills after his appearance that sparked media attention two weeks ago on HLN’s “Nancy Grace” in regards to the legalization of marijuana, he has a strong chance of being a future politician.
“I’m supposed to be running for mayor in College Park. I got everybody wishing. I’m really gonna do this little mayor thing in College Park,” 2 Chainz told XXL. “I’m just trying to make sure I have the right qualifications.”
Even though his supporters are rooting him on, 2 Chainz wants to make sure everything he does is organic and wants to see what the future holds.

In fact, he’s already got the election in the bag. He can self fund his campaign, or skip the campaign altogether and just drop new tracks detailing his plans for the town. Then send his campaign staff out into the streets to pass out his campaign mixtape. That’ll surely work, right?
But seriously, I’d vote for 2 Chainz, you’d vote for 2 Chainz…why do we not already have the opportunity to vote for 2 Chainz?
