Is 2016 Going To Be The Year Netflix Dominates Comedy? It’s Starting To Look That Way

As we mentioned back when discussing the premiere dates of 13 of Netflix’s 31 original shows and movies set for 2016, a good chunk of those new programs will be of the comedy variety.

You’ve got Love by Judd Apatow, Fuller House with many of the original Full House cast back, Flaked with Will Arnett, and The Ranch with Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson all set to premiere by April 1st.

Add that their existing comedy shows such as Bob and David, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Master of None and Netflix is primed to break out as a leader in not-only streaming movies and original dramas, but original comedy series as well.
