It’s always fun to see who the person behind the voice is, especially when their characters are as outlandish as Homer Simpson or Stewie from Family Guy. You’d think that most voice actors would just lend their natural voice to a character and let it fly, sort of like what H. Jon Benjamin does with Archer and Bob from Bob’s Burgers – but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only is the voice of Homer Simpson the same person behind the voice of Grandpa from Hey Arnold!, but the guy who does Jake from Adventure Time is the same one as the voice behind Bender from Futurama.
Just another reason not to judge a book by its cover – unless that cover is asking to be judged. By all means, judge it. Judge it hard and as often as you like.
