I can’t imagine living in a world where Sylvester Stallone’s legendary Rocky movies don’t exist. As a canon, they’re the most iconic underdog story of all time. It’s the ultimate David vs. Goliath tale — Ivan Drago, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, and Mason Dixon, and Thunderlips all *should* have kicked Rocky’s ass (and in some cases they did) but he always found a way. Those damn movies give us sad Philadelphia sports fans a tiny glimmer of hope to continue rooting for our sad sports teams in thick and thin.
