Damn. Here we go again. After an extended hiatus, Amanda Bynes saga continues. TMZ is exclusively reporting that Amanda Bynes was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for another DUI at 4:10 AM this morning in Los Angeles. Via TMZ:
Law enforcement sources tell us, Bynes was attempting to pass a cop car in her black BMW … when she sideswiped the right rear panel of the vehicle. She was pulled over and cops determined she was not fit to be behind the wheel.
She was released on $15,000 bail around noon for the misdemeanor DUI, which is her second. Her first was in April 2012 in a much-publicized incident that sorta started her downward spiral into wackiness.
Update from TMZ: A CHP officer spotted her and determined she was under the influence. She was taken to the LAPD Van Nuys division where a drug recognition officer evaluated her and determined she was under the influence of a drug.
Oh yeah: She’s on probation. That can’t be a good look to a probation officer.
This sucks to hear, especially because I recently gushed about how happy I would be to have an Amanda Bynes comeback story. Note that the mugshot above is from her 2012 DUI arrest. We’ll have her most recent one later this afternoon. More details on the way.
