Last night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon they debuted a new sketch, Lip Sync Conversation. In the new sketch Ariana Grande and Jimmy Fallon manage to have an entire conversation by lip syncing to popular songs dating all the way back to the 90s. I definitely didn’t expect to see the 4 Non Blondes ‘What’s Going On’ in a sketch with Ariana Grande, but here we are.
It’s been a while since I last checked in on Ariana Grande and what she was doing, not that I’ve ever checked up on her life, but I haven’t really seen all that many Ariana Grande headlines since she licked that donut and went all anti-American (for which she later apologized profusely). Now I’m almost positive that this is the first time Jimmy Fallon’s rolled out this ‘Lip Sync Conversation’ on his show. In the past he’s had the Lip Sync Battles, something so popular it was spun off into a separate show with Chrissy Teigen hosting (former BroBible blogger Chrissy Teigen). If I’m wrong about this and he has done this exact sketch before let me know down in the comments please, I searched around on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wiki page of sketches and couldn’t find anything and I don’t recall seeing this format before.
