Bill Cosby has been all over the news lately with one accusation of sexual assault after another being reported by various news services. As such, Cosby has been trying to deflect and stonewall any and all questions regarding the accusations.
However, this is nothing new as a just released video of him and his wife Camille doing an interview with an AP reporter back on November 5th also felt the brunt of The Cos trying to squash any discussion of the accusations, as well as Hannibal Burress calling him a rapist.
When the subject was first brought up, Cosby basically said he had no response, “No, no, we don’t answer that. There is no comment about that and I’ll tell you why. I think you were told, I don’t want to compromise your integrity, but I don’t talk about it.”
Fair enough.
Then as the interview was over Cosby, still wearing a mike, as was his oblivious wife Camille, tried to cut a deal with the reporter to not even air the simple question and response.
“Now can I get something from you? That none of that will be shown?” asks Cosby.
To which the reporter replies, “You didn’t say anything.”
“I know I didn’t say anything, but I’m asking your integrity that since I didn’t want to say anything, but I did answer you in terms of I didn’t want to say anything, what value would it have? And I would appreciate it if it was scuttled. Well I think if you want to consider yourself to be serious, that it will not appear anywhere,” presses Cosby.
