Bros… BROS! ‘Space Jam 2’ with LeBron James Is Reportedly In the Works!!!!

Huge movie news 18 years in the making, Bros: According to Deadline, the wheels are in Hollywood is in motion for a ‘Space Jam’ sequel starring LeBron James. Warner Bros is reported teaming up with Dick Ebersol‘s sons to produce Space Jam 2, a movie that’s bound to feature dozens of NBAers and celebrities, simply for the childhood nostalgia factor. The first movie grossed  $230 million worldwide and is arguably one of the most beloved childhood sports movies of all time for 80s and 90s babies, right up there next to The Mighty Ducks and The Sandlot.

It’s a movie I still remember RUSHING to the theaters to see on the weekend it opened with my parents. I loved every second of it.

Will the Monstars be back for hardwood vengeance against the? Will R. Kelly contribute a track for the soundtrack? Will  Kevin Durant make an appearance. Will Charles Barkley do something ridiculous? Will there be super dope new jerseys we can throw all our money at? Dare we say… Will Jordan be back?

No word on if Bill Murray would be involved, but how could he not?  Suddenly Quad City Djs became the soundtrack of the weekend.

It won’t come close to the original, but how can you not be just a little excited? Tremendous news to start the weekend. Everybody get up we got to slam now, we’ve got a real jam going now…

UPDATE: Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It was fun while it lasted. Did Deadline get hoaxed? Maybe Warner Brothers hasn’t approach LeBron yet. My guess is the latter.
