Burt Reynolds Has A Scorching Hot Take On Charlie Sheen Getting HIV: ‘He’s Getting What He Deserves’

For some reason Burt Reynolds has been rolled out of mothballs of late and has been making the media rounds. As anyone familiar with him knows, Reynolds has never been one to shy away from stating his opinion, and really at his age now why should he be?

So when he was asked about Charlie Sheen being diagnosed with HIV, who Reynolds has known for years, he didn’t hold back.

Appearing on the British talk show Loose Women, Reynolds had this to say (via Us Weekly)…

“His father’s a very, very decent man and a dear friend of mine,” Reynolds, 79, said of Martin Sheen on Tuesday, Dec. 8. “I feel bad for him. But Charlie, I don’t feel bad for him. He’s getting what he deserves. If you’re going to misbehave like that, then they’re going to get you.”

When one of the show’s hosts pressed the matter, asking if Reynolds really had no sympathy for Charlie, 50, he replied, “For Charlie? No. He deserves it. He misbehaved badly, very badly. But you know, when you’re that age, it’s tough. All those things are coming at you, and it’s difficult.“

Well I guess that’s definitely one way to look at it. An old man, get-off-my-lawn, I told you not to play with matches sort of way, but one way nonetheless.
