These new SNL promos pretty much prove that no one other than Chris Pratt would have been a better choice to host the 40th season premiere of Saturday Night Live. Not only is Pratt naturally funny as always, who else has had a better year than he has? Of course having Kate McKinnon by his side cracking jokes certainly doesn’t hurt (especially when it comes to her pickles).
Ariana Grande, the musical guest for the season premiere, is notably absent, however. Perhaps that’s just as well.
