Jerry Seinfeld really wants you to enjoy the new trailer for Season 5 of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. Perhaps more than he wants you to watch the actual show.
“I’m sure I’m not supposed to say this, but my favorite part of making these shows is really the promo that kicks off each season. It’s two months of work for a killer 90 seconds. That’s my kind of thing. I’m honestly fine if you hate our show, but you will love this clip package.”
That could explain why the fake movies in Seinfeld always sounded superior to anything actually in the theaters. To this day I still find myself searching streaming video services for Deathblow and Rochelle, Rochelle.
