The news of Robin Williams’s hit Conan O’brien hard during the taping of his show on Monday night. Conan “broke” the news to the audience (though televised audiences have presumably known for some hours by this time), with the late night talk show host struggling for words and seeming to fight back tears from the shock of the beloved comedian’s death.
“I’m sorry to anyone in our studio audience that I’m breaking this news. This is absolutely shocking and horrifying.”
