20 years ago today, the endlessly watchable hit comedy ‘Tommy Boy’ was released. And 20 years from today, I will still watch it every single time it’s on the TV (or whatever superior form of technology Apple comes out with then).

David Spade took to Instagram to share a warm sentiment about his late friend that made me wish Farley was still alive to share his gift. Now we live in a Farley-less world and Paul Blart: Mall Cop has a sequel. You are sorely missed, Chris.

If that didn’t stir up your emotions a bit, well then…

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
