Disney Just Shared New Images Of Its ‘Star Wars’ Theme Park And I Can’t Wait To Geek Out There

Back in August, Disney shared its plans for a 14-acre Star Wars theme park at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Yesterday, during a presentation celebrating Disneyland’s 60th anniversary on ABC, Harrison Ford shared Disney’s vision for the park’s “The Star Wars Experience.”

There will be a Millenium Falcon, a ride where you enter a battle between the Resistance and the First Order, intergalactic street markets, and cantinas to booze in, hopefully with holographic projections of my favorite drinking buddy in the universe, Jabba the Hutt.

Here are some of the new concept images of The Star Wars Experience. Disney says that construction is more or less underway, so have to imagine it will open in two or three years, perhaps coinciding with Star Wars Episode VIII:

Here are a couple of images of the park’s main ride, which promises to put people in “a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance,” according to Business Insider:

I can’t wait. I’ve never wanted to visit a theme park so badly.
