Over 100 Easter Eggs, Cameos And Other Things You May Have Missed In The Record-Breaking ‘Deadpool’ Movie

So it would appear that all of the ridiculously awesome marketing that they did for the Deadpool movie really paid off, huh?

According to Forbes the film set the following records…

— “Biggest R-rated opening weekend”
— “Biggest Friday-Sunday opening weekend from a long weekend”
— “Biggest 20th Century Fox debut ever”
— “Biggest R-rated Friday, Saturday, Sunday”
— “Biggest February opening weekend”
— “Biggest opening weekend for Ryan Reynolds
— “Biggest R-rated comic book superhero movie ever”
— “Biggest X-Men debut ever”

Not too shabby.

All of which leads me to believe that there’s a pretty good chance that many of you reading this ventured out and saw Deadpool over the long weekend.
