Eminem Has Helped Raise Nearly $2 Million For Victims Of The Manchester Attack

On Monday, 22 people were killed and 120 injured after a bomb exploded in the foyer of the Manchester Arena during an Ariana Grande concert. The Manchester terror attack showed the worst of humanity as many lives, several of them innocent children, were taken far too soon. But following the bombing, the outpouring of goodwill has shown the best in humanity. One of the numerous people who is making a difference for the victims of the attack is Eminem.

The rap icon made a plea on his Twitter, which has over 20 million followers, for people to donate on JustGiving.com.

“Join me in helping Manchester victims & their families, Make a donation to the @BritishRedCross and @MENnewsdesk.”

Besides the expansive promotion for the fantastic cause, Marshall Mathers put his money where his mouth is and gave an undisclosed donation.

The money raised will be administered by the British Red Cross and all of the proceeds will go to the affected families.

The fund was set up by the Manchester Evening News and set a goal of $2 million. In less than a week they have raised nearly $1,800,000, achieving 88% of their goal.
