EuroTrip came out in 2004 and, up until today, I had no idea how the producers of that raunchy comedy got Oscar-winning actor Matt Damon to not only make a cameo, but to belt out one of the best made-for-movie songs of all-time with “Scotty Doesn’t Know”.
I told BroBible’s own Brandon Wenerd that I feel bad for any bro named “Scott” because any time that dude says anything about knowledge, I’m breaking them off some bars from this Matt Damon joint.
As Brandon wisely pointed out, we’re now at a juncture where that scene and that song are way more memorable than the movie itself. How often does that happen? I don’t know. I don’t have all the answers. Get off my sack. Like, are you on board with Michelle Trachtenberg’s vagina bones?

Figures that it was Damon’s Harvard connections with the producers that landed him the surprise appearance of the century. Harvard. You want answers? That’s the answer for nine out of every 10 questions. Harvard.
I can’t even get my frat bros to re-tweet me and Matt Damon’s like yeah, sure, I’ll lip-sync a ridiculous song in your amusing travelogue while also filming Brothers Grimm in Prague.
If you want the whole scene in HD, you can watch it below, but don’t get all butt-hurt if it’s taken down because God forbid a billion-dollars-a-year movie studio lets us be happy for one whole minute.
Did Damon consider this one of his best on-set moments? Nope. That went to his experience hanging with John Malkovich on Rounders. Was Eurotrip Damon’s most hilarious cameo? Well, Damon revealed some hilarious details about his stint on Team America: World Police.
