Critics and fanboys alike can generally admit that J.J. Abrams did a more than admirable job with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It was a tremendous movie considering the legacy and pressure of the original films and remembering how extraordinarily awful some of the prequels were (Way to go George Lucas). However there were some things wrong with the highly successful sequel.
The fine folks over at CinemaSins took nearly 20 minutes to bring you “Everything Wrong With Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.” The video breaks down all the negatives about TFA from it being a near carbon copy of Star Wars: A New Hope to the only reason for BB-8 was to sell toys to every ship in the galaxy doesn’t need keys to start to for wanting the map so desperately, the First Order haphazardly nearly blows up the map a shit-ton of times.
