Danny McBride Is A Lovable Asshole In The First Trailer For ‘Eastbound & Down’ Creators’ New HBO Series ‘Vice Principals’

Yes please and thank you.

Danny McBride has teamed up with fellow Eastbound and Down creator Jody Hill to deliver what looks to be another irreverent, unapologetic dark comedy, and it looks glorious.

The official synopsis:

Created by Danny McBride and Jody Hill, who also created HBO’s VICE PRINCIPALS is a dark comedy series that tells the story of a high school and the two people who almost run it, the vice principals. McBride and Goggins star as the rival administrators, who are in an epic power struggle, vying for the top spot: to be school principal. The half-hour show is slated for 18 episodes over two seasons. Premieres July 2016.

The half-hour comedy was picked up for 18 episodes, which will air over the course of two seasons. Vice Principals premieres on HBO in July.

Hopefully, this new series brings the same invaluable nuggets of wisdom as its predecessor.
