First Trailer For ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2’ Features A Pissed Off Jennifer Lawrence Ready To Wreck Sh*t

The first trailer for Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 just dropped and it looks like The Hunger Games franchise is about to drop its biggest blockbuster yet. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters on November 20th, 2015 and it’s the final installment of the Hunger Games franchise that has been financial boon to both Lionsgate and Jennifer Lawrence in recent years. You all know the drill: Katniss Everdeen is lethal with a bow and arrow, and that somehow enables her to overthrow a dictatorship… So without giving away too much, here’s the highly anticipated first trailer for Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2:

A fun cameo in there includes the actress who plays Brienne of Tarth on Game of Thrones.

So will fans of the Hunger Games franchise get the closure they are looking for in this final film that appears to show Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) overthrowing the capitol? Or will people simply see this for what it is, Hollywood trying to stretch a book that was already too short to necessitate standing alone and which should have been absorbed into the second book in the series….but was somehow dragged out into two movies for the sake of theater? I’m ashamed to admit I actually read all of the Hunger Games books at the behest of my better half, and they sucked ass. The third book was useless, and should’ve just been an extension of the second book, and it 1000% SHOULD NOT have been made into TWO MOVIES. That’s just egregious money grubbing by Hollywood, but such is the game out there.

Will I pay money to see this in theaters? Probably not. I still haven’t seen Hunger Games: The Mockingjay Part 1 as I’m waiting for it to hit HBO on-demand or something like that. So I doubt I’ll spend money to see this one in the theater. But given that it’s launching around the holidays I just might, but you don’t care about which movies I see and which I don’t.
