This superb mashup by IGN is an absolute gem. They masterfully combined clips from Pixar movies including Cars, Cars 2 and Planes with the sounds of the Furious 7 trailer and it fits perfectly. Even the lips of the cars matches up with the dialogue from the latest chapter of The Fast and the Furious.
Vin Diesel’s gritty voice seems as a natural to play Mater, the rusty, beat up tow truck Mater from Cars. Shot-for-shot each scene flawlessly fits in with the audio from the trailer and nothing is forced.
Mater is definitely a tow truck who puts family first.
