You could make an argument that Ramsay Bolton or King Joffrey are the most despicable and hated characters in Game of Thrones. I for one would go with Ramsay being more wicked since he was far more sadistic and psychotic and Joffrey could be pushed around at times. Now another diabolical character will attempt to take the title of “Most Hated Villain” on Game of Thrones. Pilou Asbæk, the actor that plays Euron Greyjoy, believes that his character is about to make you hate him in Season 7. Spoilers ahead.

When we last saw Euron Greyjoy he had made his debut in Season 6 where he got off to a great start as far as wickedness goes. He murdered his brother Balon so that he could sit on the Salt Throne. As the Lord Reaper of Pyke, he instructed and promised the people of the Iron Islands to cut down every tree and “build me a thousand ships and I will give you this world.”

In the July issue of Empire magazine, Pilou Asbæk revealed some intriguing insight into Euron, the new King of Salt and Rock.

“The psychos I’ve encountered have so many different sides to them. So each scene I’ve done with Euron, I pick a new thing I wanna show. ‘This scene I want to be charming.’ ‘This scene I wanna be a molester.’ ‘This scene I wanna kill someone.’ After this season, Ramsay’s gonna look like a little kid.”

Euron Greyjoy sounds like he’s going to be an absolute delight in Season 7 of Game of Thrones. To out-evil Ramsay Bolton who killed his own father, mother-in-law, and baby stepbrother plus tortured, mutilated, and fed his victims to the hounds is going to take some world-class wickedness. Remember, what is dead may never die.
