I think we are all in agreement that the battle at Hardhome in Sunday’s Game of Thrones was the greatest television moment since Who Shot Mr. Burns?
It was so fucking good that I plan on watching the episode again, from start to finish, just to re-experience it. I might do that tonight.
But how did they do it? With a lot of green screen and by building a lot of gigantic set pieces. That stockade wall? Completely real.
