GTA’s MASSIVE Update Features New Story, New Cars, New Gameplay, New Criminals And New Badassery

It appears as though we will not be graced with a GTA 6 until 2018 at the earliest and possibly not until 2020. Don’t fret. Rockstar Games is putting out an enormous online update that will hopefully hold you over for a little while.

On Friday morning, Rockstar Games announced their next major update for Grand Theft Auto V’s online mode. The new download will be “one of GTA Online’s biggest and deepest updates yet” and titled “Further Adventures in Finance and Felony.” It is the follow-up to 2015’s “Executives and Other Criminals.”

You will attempt to become a criminal kingpin of Los Santos and Blaine County. Your power and wealth allows you to purchase high-rise office and special warehouse properties to buy and sell contraband. But law enforcement and other criminal syndicates will try to stop you in your tracks from ruling the seedy underworld.

As the CEO of a criminal organization, you can afford to purchase new cars such as the Lamborghini-inspired Pegassi Reaper.

The update promises all new gameplay, “a host” of special new vehicles that will allow for “cunning stunts.”

“For crazy vehicular action comes a major update to the wild world of GTA Online racing and stunting that will introduce a new realm of creative and fun games,” Rockstar said.

There is expected to be fresh Adversary modes and introduce new arenas for the “In and Out” mode, which just arrived in GTA Online last week. There is rumored to be “fun competitive team-based modes.”

A new trailer for the “massive, feature-rich” “Further Adventures in Finance and Felony” update will drop next week. The update itself is expected to be available on June 7, presumably for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
