Some Guy On Twitter Perfectly OWNED The Rock After He Told Him To Stop Using An Emoji

It’s prett-ay rare that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson meets his match on social media, but that’s exactly what happened when he tangled with one Twitter user on Wednesday. Who knew that a man named Olly Gibbs, a designer at Empire Magazine, would be the one to do it though?

Wednesday night, as the first trailer for Jumanji hit the internet, Gibbs couldn’t help but notice that this is the second time The Rock has been in a film with the tagline “Welcome to the Jungle.” It seems that WAY back in 2003 Johnson’s film The Rundown was also called, for some reason, Welcome to the Jungle.

Naturally, he had to bring this to The Rock’s attention…

After getting a look at the tweet The Rock decided to fire back in a rather non-Rock-like fashion, even scolding Gibbs for his use of an emoji, saying, “Haha buddy, juuuuust see the movie first then make the comparison. And for fucks sakes stop using the non masculine 🤔 emoji.”

Twitter beef over and done, right? The Rock has spoken. Wrong. It wasn’t even close to being over as Gibbs slayed the dragon with his response back to The Rock…

Game, set and match, Gibbs.

Even The Rock had to admit defeat…

Awesome.
