Jamie Foxx Reveals That Martin Scorsese Will Direct Upcoming Mike Tyson Biopic

Jamie Foxx was on Power 106’s The Breakfast Club yesterday and he dropped a major bomb.

During the interview, Foxx revealed that he was working on a Mike Tyson biopic written by “Wolf Of Wall Street” writer Terence Winter and famed director Martin Scorsese.

“I just went in with Paramount with Mike Tyson. So I’m going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I’m on the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm. This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since Raging Bull.”

The whole thing sounds like a done deal but there has yet be an official announcement.

Here’s hoping what Foxx said is true because Scorsese is probably the greatest living director and has already made the greatest boxing movie of all-time in Raging Bull.
