This epic mashup features footage from 25 top space movies and successfully edits together the Imperial Fleet along with TIE fighters and stormtroopers blasting their way through all the leading men and women you love on various space missions.
This is such an Empire move. Oh, hey, look. Innocent people just trying to figure out space. OBLITERATE THEM.
Somehow this assortment of astronauts felt more cohesive than the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe, but I’m hearing good things about Captain America: Civil War. I can’t even fathom fitting Guardians of the Galaxy into The Avengers. And, if we ever do get Avengers vs. X-Men, we’re gonna need an IMAX on top of an IMAX inside an Oculus. I’m just getting a little claustrophobic. So many characters – like ten’s a party, twenty’s a crowd, right? It’s like a three-ring circus meets a Royal Rumble.
All that said, though, this mashup is able to pull it off. Dozens of movies and characters stitched into a four-minute masterpiece. Truly interstellar. I like how the stormtrooper shoots that blue alien soap opera singer from The Fifth Element. Seeing that singer made me think of the blue race from Avatar. I bet that’s how James Cameron got his idea. Also enjoyed Matt Damon taking a green laser to the gut.
AND, this is just part one! Hopefully, it’s not like those rap videos from the 90s talkin’ bout the saga continuing only for it NOT to continue. Give us closure, bro!
