Ghostbusters was a beloved franchise from the 80’s, so it should come as no surprise that fans of the original films were livid when they found out a remake was on its way, with a cast comprised primarily of women no less.
That’s not to say the film isn’t worth watching – it currently sits at a solid 77% on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics mostly agreeing that while it doesn’t live up to its original source material, it’s still a fun summer flick to shell out $12 to see.
Considering all the hate Ghostbusters got before the reviews even came out, I’d say it’s about time for the haters to hang up their pitchforks and quit bitching before people start pointing out how pathetic and petty they are. Oh wait, too late.
