Jimmy McGill Appears To Be Breaking Bad In New Trailer For ‘Better Call Saul’

In this new trailer for Season 2 of Better Call Saul, it appears that Jimmy McGill will be slowly transitioning into the Saul Goodman, who we all know and love from Breaking Bad.

McGill, played by the great Bob Odenkirk, will jump into defending wicked individuals from the seedy crime underworld thanks to Mike Ehrmantraut, played by Jonathan Banks.

AMC originally ordered 13 episodes of Better Call Saul in Season 2, but it will have 10 episodes.

AMC describes Better Call Saul Season 2:

A prequel to the award-winning series “Breaking Bad,” the series follows down-on-his-luck Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) as he navigates the moral dilemmas of the legal world while trying to step out of his older brother’s shadow and make a name for himself. Season one found Jimmy stumble upon a large class-action lawsuit, which led to a promising job opportunity at a large firm. Having arrived at a fork in the road, will Jimmy take the straight and narrow path with a safe corporate job or will he fall back into his “Slippin’ Jimmy” con-artist ways?

In addition to Jonathan Banks’ return as Mike Ehrmantraut, Better Call Saul features Michael McKean as Saul/Jimmy McGill’s brother Chuck, The Last Exorcism star Patrick Fabian as white-shoe law firm lawyer Howard Hamlin, Rhea Seehorn as fellow lawyer Kim Wexler, and Orphan Black star Michael Mando as career criminal Nacho Varga.

You can head on over to Variety where they have Better Call Saul character portraits.

The show’s second season begins February 15 on AMC.
