Ranking Tony Soprano’s Worst Business Decisions

When you really think about it, fictional mob boss Tony Soprano was a pretty schrewed businessman. His resume is pretty cushy — There’s his “waste management consultant” job for Barone Sanitation, his ownership stake in Satriale’s Meat Market, and the place where he met with crew, the infamous Bada Bing strip club.

Business magazines like Fortune have literally written articles about Tony Soprano’s (…often illegal and immoral) business acumen. There’s even an entire book on his management style.

But what about his failures? Where has Tony dropped the ball? Here’s a refresher on some of his biggest business fuck ups, including the mess associated with Artie Bucco’s Italian restaurant, the Nuovo Vesuvio.
