Stoners and cult movie fanatics alike, rejoice! Redman has just confirmed the world will FINALLY get to see How High 2. The original collegiate classic How High was released on December 21, 2001, and now I feel old.
While little is known so far about the flick’s production, we can only hope that Redman and Method Man are starring to reprise their raucous roles of Silas and Jamal.
Redman dropped the news of the highly-anticipated sequel while discussing his upcoming album Muddy Waters 2 with XXL Magazine.
XXL: Will fans get to see another Blackout 3 album in the future?
Redman: Absolutely. We actually want to make it the soundtrack to How High 2.
XXL: So when is How High 2 dropping?
Redman: Yeah, How High 2 is not going to drop until at least 2017. The writers are still writing the script. Just looking at it time wise and being realistic about it. By the time we shoot it, get it edited, color corrected, that’s going to be a year or so, so yeah about 2017.
2017 you say!? GET ‘EM!!!
