Because apparently Samsung doesn’t have bigger fish to fry right now they went after a clever Grand Theft Auto mod making fun of their exploding phone.
Earlier this month a video depicting this awesome and very appropriate mod hit the internet. It was great and naturally, people loved it. Well, most people.
Turns out the Samsung didn’t find it very amusing and issued a DMCA takedown and had the video removed. Uh, I am pretty sure that’s not how DMCA takedowns are supposed to work.
How about instead of harassing YouTubers you, oh I don’t know, make a phone that doesn’t catch fire, Samsung?
Good thing this is the internet though, because guess what? More videos have now popped up. This one is especially good.
