I hadn’t heard the name Selma Blair in awhile until she showed up on American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson recently.
I used to be kind of a fan of hers back in the day, but I haven’t seen her in much else other than O.J. over the past decade or so.
Now, at age 43, she’s most definitely back on my radar thanks to a recent episode on a plane where she appears to have had one hell of an outburst.
According to TMZ…
Witnesses on a flight from Cancun, Mexico to LAX tell us, Blair was in first class and drinking wine. The witnesses say it appeared she combined something — perhaps medication — with her glass of wine.
We’re told she suddenly started crying, “He burns my private parts. He won’t let me eat or drink.”
The witnesses say she continued, “He beats me. He’s going to kill me.”
Needless to say, the pilot after hearing about this radioed ahead and when they landed Blair was taken off the plane by stretcher and transported to a hospital.
“She was met by paramedics at LAX as soon as her plane arrived,” a source at People magazine revealed. “It looks like she had taken a combination of prescription medication with alcohol. We don’t know what sort of prescription medications.”
Interestingly enough there were no signs of any trouble both prior to the trip, nor at takeoff based on photos Blair and her ex Jason Bleick posted to Instagram.
