Say what you want about Family Guy and Seth MacFarlane — go ahead, say those things — but the guy is immensely talented. I personally enjoy most of MacFarlane’s creations. My brain is small and seeing an evil infant pop a blood vessel in his eye from blowing a violent fart makes me laugh. But I don’t need to explain myself to you.
Part of Family Guy’s success is MacFarlane’s ability to do spot on impressions. Last night, he flexed those impression muscles on The Tonight Show. In all, he did four impressions; Liam Neeson, Bobcat Goldthwait (which looks painful), Ray Romano, and he hijacked Jimmy Fallon’s Pee Wee Herman attempt. With the exception of Romano — it came off sounding like a guy who accidentally swallowed laundry detergent — MacFarlane’s impressions were perfection.
