Barb From ‘Stranger Things’ Is Much Cuter In Real Life And She Will Get ‘Justice’

One of the most popular characters to come out of Netflix’s latest hit Stranger Things was poor, left-out Barb played by 19-year-old Shannon Purser.

Barb struck a chord with many viewers, mostly because they felt sorry for her after being left to die by the pool by her so-called bestie Nancy Wheeler.

Since the show ended fans have been demanding “Justice For Barb” because it seemed like the writers pretty much just did what the town did and forgot about her after she was swallowed up by the Upside Down.

Well, good news, because according to the Duffer Brothers, “Barb will not be forgotten.”

“We’ll make sure there’s some justice for Barb. People get very frustrated, understandably, that the town doesn’t seem to be really dealing with Barb. That stuff is all happening. We’re just not spending any screen time on it.

“It’s not like her parents are like ‘Oh Barb left. She died!’ Season One actually takes place over the course of six or seven days – it’s a really short period of time. So part of what we want to do with hypothetical Season 2 is to explore the repercussions of everything that happened.”

Fans can also take solace in the fact that Barb was initially set to have a far more gruesome death according to the original concept art…

Yikes. Poor Barb.

As for those of you who came here to see what Barb, aka Shannon Purser, looks like in real life, well, she’s on Instagram of course so you’re in luck.
