Your First Look At Epic 14-Acre ‘Star Wars’ Land At Disney
Get ready to get your nerd on and clear your schedule for 2019. Here is your first glimpse at “Star Wars” land at Disney theme parks. Disney revealed offered a sneak peak of the “Star Wars” theme park at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California with a detailed 50-foot-long 3D large-scale model (Much better than any shitty diorama you made for your 5th-grade science project). The “Star Wars” theme parks will encompass 14 acres and are currently being constructed at Disneyland in Anaheim, California and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The new theme park was first announced in 2015 and titled “Star Wars Land.” The parks are scheduled to be open to the public in 2019.
The park will feature a TIE fighter and the Millennium Falcon, which will be one of two rides planned for the park and will get you to your destination in “less than twelve parsecs.” Fans will be able to control the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission. Another ride transports you to a “climatic battle” between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be transported “to a never-before-seen planet, a remote trading port and one of the last stops before Wild Space, where Star Wars characters and their stories come to life.” There is a spaceport market that will make you think that you’ve ventured into Mos Eisley on Tatoonie. You may want to steer clear of all of the scum and villainy.
