Ted Cruz Joked With Jimmy Kimmel About Running Donald Trump Over With His Car

On Wednesday night, Senator and Republican presidential nominee hopeful, Ted Cruz, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live for some lighthearted political chatter that seemed refreshing given the tone of his campaign as of late.

As you can imagine, especially after their recent jabs at each others wives, Ted Cruz is no fan of Donald Trump, and in speaking to Kimmel, he didn’t exactly make that a secret. Cruz used Kimmel’s first question, “Who do you like more, Obama or Trump?” as a perfect segue into making a joke about running over The Donald with his car. Because this is American politics in the 21st century!

“Donald is a unique individual. I was watching the early part of the show, and if I were in my car and getting ready to reverse, and I saw Donald in the backup camera… I’m not confident which pedal I’d push.”

Admittedly, I laughed. How could you not? To his credit, the Senator offered up an A+ delivery on this one, and to be honest, it was pretty cool to see him relaxed as he was and having a normal conversation for once. By no means is that an endorsement, mind you.

So….cue Donald Trump now saying he’ll run Cruz over with his plane?
